Initiation Week

So my adventure begins!

I've been wanting to get fit for a long time now. It's actually been years. When I dropped out of college (I ended up returning but that's a story for another day) in 2013 I looked forward to a lot of changes, but one of the things I wanted was to change myself physically. It was either that year or the next my wife and I went to the gym and got ourselves memberships. It ended up costing us hundreds of dollars and we hardly ever went. Ultimately that whole experience was a fail.

My Trainer, Victoria
About a year ago, however, I was able to get a little more serious when I started personal training sessions. Its not the first time I attended personal training, but this time it was different. The trainer I had was a fellow ginger who moved to the US from England. Her name was Victoria, and as much as the sweetheart she was, she knew just how to whip me into shape. What she taught wasn't so much the physical, but the mental capacity that I needed to have to train well. Unfortunately, as our sessions started to become more frequent, and as I began to become more serious in training, I moved back to Utah to attend college once again.

The first semester back at school I had a racquetball class. It was fun and helped with my cardio, but it was honestly just not cutting it as far as a real workout. Now, I've started attending the gym again and am really ready to start doing what it takes to get to where I want to go.
